This Privacy Policy outlines the types of data we collect from your interaction with CPB and how we process that information to enhance your CPB experience. When you create a CPB account or use any of our applications or sites, the information we collect is to offer a more personalized experience.

We take the privacy of the information you provide and that we collect seriously, and we implement security safeguards designed to protect your data, as discussed below. We do not share or sell your personally identifiable data with anyone, including third-party advertisers or ad networks for third-party advertising purposes.

You have choices about how your personal information is accessed, collected, and stored by Rabboni Books, which are discussed below. You will make choices about our use and processing of your information when you first engage CPB and when you engage certain CPB functionality and may also make certain choices in the settings menu of your CPB Member account.

Where CPB has provided you with a translation other than the English version of the Privacy Policy, you agree that the translation is provided for your convenience only and that the English version of the Privacy Policy will govern your relationship with CPB. If there is any contradiction between the English version of the Privacy Policy and what a translation says, then the English version shall take precedence.
Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We only collect Names, Email Addresses, and passwords. You may decline to submit personal information to us; however, that may prohibit us from having the ability to provide you with certain CPB services or functionality. The personal information we collect and the purpose for which we use that information are described below.
I want to let you know the Personal Information You provided us.
You do not need to sign up for a Membership account to use CPB. However, Membership allows us to tailor CPB to be a more personalized experience. To create a CPB Membership account, we ask that you provide a first name, last name, and a valid email address. We can use this information to associate you with your CPB Member account.
Your User Contributions.
CPB allows users to publish prayer requests publicly, privately, or anonymously. A public post will be visible to everyone who uses the app, while a private one remains undisclosed. Please note that we do not share, sell, or transfer this information with or to anyone.
Donations and Giving.
If you choose to provide a voluntary donation through CPB, acts1038.com, revebb.com website, or a third party website linked to CPB, then and only then will you be prompted and required to provide a credit card, bank account, and other payment information necessary to process the transaction. We will collect the designation for your donation, if you provide one, as well as personal information such as your name, address, phone number, and/or email address to ensure that your donation is used for the purpose you request and to provide you with an “Annual Giving Statement” that itemizes your donation(s) for tax purposes or your personal use. We will not store or otherwise process financial information provided to us online to donate. As of the date of this Policy, we use PayPal to process your online donation payments. Communications from You to Us.
We'll get information about you when you send, receive, or engage with messages from us, including when you submit personal information or requests by emailing support@cpbible.com. We keep those communications to process your questions, respond to requests, and improve CPB and our services.
Automatic Data Collection Technologies
By agreeing to our Privacy Policy, you agree to use cookies and similar technologies (for example, web beacons, pixels, tags, and device identifiers, which we collectively refer to as “cookies”) as described in this Policy. If you use CPB without changing your browser or device settings to disable cookies, we assume you consent to receive all cookies provided through CPB.
Cookies and Other Similar Technologies.
We use cookies to recognize you and/or your device(s) on, off, and across the different applications of CPB. Cookies help to facilitate the best possible user experience of CPB as they allow us to recognize you and maintain your user preferences from session to session, help us keep your account safe, and generally improve the functionality of the products and services offered through CPB. They also help us ensure that Member information is used in association with the correct Member account. Importantly, we do NOT use cookies or similar technologies to facilitate interest-based ads for third-party goods or services.
Attribution Providers.
We advertise CPB on third-party sites such as Facebook and Google and use third-party software development kits (“SDKs”) to attribute a download of CPB to the advertisement placed on the third-party site. We may provide these third parties with aggregate, de-identified information concerning ads placed on their sites and CPB downloads that result from those ads. We do not sell your personal information to any third parties nor allow our SDK service providers to sell your personal information to third parties or use your personal information to solicit the sale of third-party goods or services.
Device ID and Location and Network Access.
When you access or leave CPB websites, we receive the URL of both the site you came from and the one you go to next. We also get information about your proxy server, operating system, web browser and add-ons, device identifier, features, and your ISP or mobile carrier when you use CPB. We also receive data from your devices and networks, including your IP address. We use the IP addresses we collect from our users to process them with public latitude and longitude information related to your Internet Service Provider or mobile service provider to determine and, in some instances, depict in an aggregate and de-identified manner the approximate geographic region for each instance of CPB use. This latitude and longitude information is stored by us for approximately seven days for troubleshooting and diagnostic purposes. Still, it is never associated with any information about you, or that would identify you personally.
Suppose you use CPB from a mobile device and desire to use the Events feature. In that case, you will be prompted to give CPB permission to access and receive information from that device related to your GPS location to find Events near you, as outlined below. We do not share your personally identifiable information, device identification, or location without your permission. You do not have to provide this information; however, if you do not, it may limit your ability to use Events to its fullest extent.
We also collect and use your mobile device's wireless (or “WiFi”) permissions to determine if you are connected to a WiFi or cellular network. This information provides an optimized user experience by providing higher-resolution media to a user on a high-speed WiFi rather than a cellular network. WiFi permissions are also used for casting content with Chromecast and similar devices. This information is not stored or shared by CPB.
How We Use Your Information
We use data that we collect about you and that you provide to us, as well as the inferences we make from that information as follows:
Communications from Us to You.
We communicate with you through push notifications or in-app messages. You can also tailor your notification settings at any time within the Settings menu of the CPB Bible App.
Notice
We may use your personal information to provide notice regarding a security incident or data breach by (i) sending a message to the email address you provide (as applicable), (ii) posting to a publicly facing page of CPB, or through an in-app message; (iii) through major statewide media; and/or (iv) telephonic means, including calls and/or text messages, even if sent via automated means including automated dialers. Standard text and data messaging rates may apply from your carrier. Notices sent by email will be effective when we send the email, notices we provide will be effective upon posting and by in-app messaging when the message is made, and notices we provide through telephonic means will be effective when transmitted or dialed. You will receive electronic communications from Rabboni Books about CPB and your use and access to the services provided through CPB. We are responsible for keeping your email address and any other contact information you provide to us current so that we can send these communications to you.
Sensitive Data
We do not collect Sensitive data.
Deleting Your Account.
Suppose you choose to close your account or ask that we modify or delete some or all of your personal information. In that case, we will retain your data if we have a legal right or obligation to maintain the information or to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our rights, or fulfill any other requests from you (for example, to opt-out of further messages or for a copy of your data). Otherwise, if you request that we close your account, we will delete your account and all the information we have that is associated with your account, except for aggregated statistics based on de-identified information and inferences we make from the same.

Terms of Use
As noted in the Policy below, the English version of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use will govern your relationship with CPB. While the English version will govern, you can also use an automatic translation tool like Google Translate to view the documents in your language. Any further translation revisions will be posted on this page. Acceptance of these Terms By using CPB sites, services, and mobile applications (together, “CPB”), whether as a guest or a registered user, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before using CPB and the CPB Privacy Policy. You must not access or use CPB if you disagree with these Terms or the CPB Privacy Policy. Changes to the Terms CPB is offered by Rabboni Books (“Rabboni Books,” “we,” or “us”). We may revise and update these Terms occasionally at our sole discretion. Any changes are effective when we post them. Your continued use of CPB after posting revised Terms means you accept and agree to the changes. Where CPB has provided you with a translation other than the English language version of the Terms of Use, you agree that the translation is provided for your convenience only and that the English language version of the Terms of Use will govern your relationship with CPB. Changes to CPB While we hope always to offer CPB and all of its features, we reserve the right to change or cease offering CPB or any part portion or functionality of CPB without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, all or any part of CPB is unavailable at any time. Information About You and Your Access to CPB All information we collect on or through CPB is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using CPB, you consent to all actions we take in compliance with the Privacy Policy. Permitted and Unpermitted Use: You may use CPB per these Terms for your personal and non-commercial use or the internal use of your non-profit religious organization. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Rabboni Books. You agree you are not permitted and will not use CPB as follows: •in any way that violates any federal, state, local, or international law or regulation; •for the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content, asking for personally identifiable information, or otherwise; •to impersonate or attempt to impersonate any company or person, including Rabboni Books or another CPB user; •to engage in any other conduct which, as determined by us, may harm Rabboni Books or users of CPB or expose them to liability; •in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair CPB or interfere with any other person’s use of CPB; •use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access CPB for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on CPB; •to introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful; •to attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of CPB or any server, computer, or database connected to CPB; •to attack CPB via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack; and •otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of CPB. You also agree that you will not send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material which: •contains any material which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable; •promotes sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination on any basis, including that based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age; •infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or other rights of any other person; •violates the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others or contains any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under laws or regulations; •promotes any illegal activity, or advocates, promotes, or assists any unlawful act; •involves commercial activities or sales, such as contests, sweepstakes, and other sales promotions, barter, or advertising; and/or •gives the impression that the material emanates from or is endorsed by Rabboni Books or any other person or entity, if this is not the case.
You agree that we have the right to:
Take any action concerning any user, Member account, or User Contribution that we deem necessary or appropriate in our sole discretion if we believe there to be a violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, a threat to the personal safety of others, or a threat, liability, or harm to the goodwill associated with CPB or Rabboni Books; •take appropriate action, including without limitation, referral to law enforcement and disclosure of your information, for any illegal or unauthorized use of CPB; and/or •terminate or suspend your access to all or part of CPB for any or no reason, including without limitation, any violation of these Terms. Without limiting the preceding, we have the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or other information of anyone posting any materials on or through CPB. YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS RABBONI BOOKS AND ITS LICENSEES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS AND ALL OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY ANY OF THE PRECEDING PARTIES DURING OR AS A RESULT OF LEGAL INVESTIGATIONS AND FROM ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF INVESTIGATIONS BY EITHER RABBONI BOOKS OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES. Logos and Designs The CPB name and logo, Rabboni Books name and logo, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks and/or copyrights of Rabboni Books. You must not use these marks and copyright without the prior written permission of Rabboni Books. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on CPB are the trademarks of their respective owners.
Copyright Infringement
If you believe that any User Contributions or other content provided on CPB violates your copyright or other rights, please get in touch with our designated agent by (a) mail at Legal Department, Rabboni Books, PO Box 6416, Rochester, MN 55903; (b) phone at 5074052117; or (c) electronic mail at support@cpbible.com. Please be aware that Rabboni Books's Policy is to terminate the user accounts of repeat infringers. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or any loss or damage arising from your use of them. If you decide to access any third-party websites linked to CPB, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to such website's terms and conditions of use.
